The SEC and Pac 12 go to Capitol Hill and Deion spills the tea on college transfers

In episode 252 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Kristie starts the episode giving a recap of the NBA playoffs so far. They get into a debate about Gary Payton II injury and Dillon Brooks flagrant foul. Rob compares it to old school fouls and the recent flagrant 2 foul by the Warriors Draymond Green They also discuss the troubles the Sixers are facing down 0-2 to the Heat and debate whether Joel Embiid will be back in time to make this series competitive. Next, they transition to college sports and the evolving world of name, Image, and likeness. Rob discusses recent events including the NCAA stating they are going to introduce new guidelines to prohibit boosters from enticing recruits to different programs. They also discuss Gerg Sankey and George Klaivkoff’s trip to Capitol Hill to address congress to aide in guidelines or laws to help regulate college sports. Rob then shares a story how a University has fired its athletic director for not preparing the program well enough for this NIL era. Finally, Rob shares with Kristie an interview with Deion Sanders where he details how players and coaches are negotiating their transfers before entering the transfer portal.
