NFL being investigated again, Big XII to modernise football viewing, PAC 12’s TV troubles

In episode 353 of Sports Bliss with Rob and Kris, Rob and Kristie start the episode discussing Jackson Mahomes arrest. Kristie gives an update on the incident that happened earlier this year. Then Rob and Kristie discuss the attorney general’s investigation into harassment cases in the NFL. They discuss the unfortunate situation women are facing in the NFL work place. Then Rob shares the recent betting scandal involving the Alabama baseball team and the firing of their head coach.

Next, they jump into the world of college football and discuss how Brett Yormark plans to modernise the college football viewing experience. Rob also shares some of the Big XII’s future plans including international football and basketball games among other exciting ideas.

Then Rob gives an update on the Pac 12’s journey to secure a new tv deal. Rob shares some recent reports that ESPN has pulled out of tier 1 negotiations and it appears only Apple TV is left as a prime suitor.

Rob also shares that the SEC will be debating 8 or 9 conference games in the future at their upcoming spring meeting. He and Kristie debate if this will effect the Gators and Knights upcoming matchup in 2024.
